Senior Manager, US Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, US Marketing, will work with Commercial Leadership to develop HCP strategy and initiatives, including brand plan, unbranded and branded assets, speaker bureau, and additional tools for field teams in alignment with the near-term and longer-term business operating plan. The incumbent will also partner cross-functionally to drive disease education and prepare for product launch to appropriate target audiences. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

These may include but are not limited to:

 
  • Lead the implementation of the disease & brand story in alignment with cross-functional enterprise-wide partners, including medical, regulatory, and legal 
  • Develop and roll-out promotional materials to support execution of brand and disease messages to health care professional audiences 
  • Develop health care professional directed promotional materials and patient education materials guided by market insights
  • Develop innovative strategic initiatives for disease education to highlight unmet need(s) 
  • Support brand planning including situation analysis, competitive landscape, strategic priorities, and tactical execution 
  • Participate in developing the short and long terms strategic plan and tactical plan for health care professional audiences 
  • Co-Manage Crinetics’ brand presence at medical meetings/congresses  
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs to lead development of and refine the Speaker Bureau and additional KOL initiatives 
  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of all initiatives 
  • Budget management and tracking of strategic and tactical marketing plans 
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators for marketing tactics 
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field  
  • 8 years of experience working in marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience 
  • Experience managing promotions and market research vendors 
  • Experience in pharmaceutical situation analysis and brand planning 
  • Ability to consolidate and present key findings to relevant parties
 
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Equipment: PC, scanners, voice mail and e-mail systems, and common office machines, or ability to be trained.

Software Knowledge: Windows, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
 
EFFORT REQUIRED/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. TRAVEL: 

Travel may be required up to 5% of your time. 

THE ANTICIPATED BASE SALARY RANGE: $115,990 – $131250

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education.
