Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Contract)

POSITION SUMMARY:
 
Crinetics is a growing rare endocrine disease biotech company located in San Diego. We are in a growing phase and will be doubling our workforce in 2023.  The individual will be an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team and responsible for providing a best-in-class candidate experience.  You will be an ambassador to candidates, Human Resources, and internal partners, improve upon existing programs and processes, and innovate strategies for candidate experience and finding top talent. A successful candidate has a bias towards action, is approachable, composed, and maintains a laser focus on delivering outstanding results. This role reports directly to our Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.
 
This is a 6 months – 1 year contract role. Preference given to local candidate as you be asked to be onsite to facilitate interviews.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
These may include but are not limited to:
 
  • Create a positive and seamless experience for all candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Facilitate all things in our applicant tracking system, Paycor, not limited to creating job postings, system maintenance, process improvements, onboarding and user access
  • Maintain and update Talent Acquisition Metrics and dashboards for reporting
  • Work with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition partners, and candidates to schedule and coordinate interviews and presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the entire interview process.
  • Facilitate scheduling and logistics for interviews and debriefs
  • Provide updates to candidates regarding their applicant and interview status.
  • Support the communication and coordination of interview and offer related activities for candidates.
  • General day-to-day scheduling and administrative duties
  • Coordinate candidate travel and the candidate expenses process, as needed.
  • Offer ideas to streamline our processes and improve upon existing programs
  • Take on projects of impact to our workflow and experiences provided
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 
  • Minimum 2+ years as a Talent Acquisition coordinator preferably in the biotech industry.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of interview workflow.
  • Experience with heavy scheduling and calendars.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and extremely detail oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Strong sense of Urgency.
  • Experience Excel, Pivot table, and PowerPoint are preferred.
 
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
 
Software Knowledge:  Windows, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Knowledge of other software:  Paycor, ATS
 
EFFORT REQUIRED/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
 
Physical Activities:  On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means.  Some walking and lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.  The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.  The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and responsibilities.
 
TRAVEL:
 
Travel may be required up to 5% of your time.
