Stephanie S. Okey M.S. has served on Crinetics board of directors since July 2019. From 1986 until July 2015, Ms. Okey served in various positions of increasing responsibility in the biopharmaceutical industry, first at Bristol Myers Squibb, then Genentech, Inc. for nearly 8 years, followed by 19 years at Genzyme, a Sanofi company. Ms. Okey’s management experience during her tenure at Genzyme included serving as Senior Vice President, Head of North America, Rare Diseases, and U.S. General Manager, Rare Diseases from August 2012 to July 2015 and as Vice President and General Manager, U.S. Genetic Diseases Business Unit from September 2011 to August 2012. Ms. Okey retired from Genzyme in July 2015.

From June 2018 until March 2023, Ms. Okey served as a member of the board of directors of Albireo Pharma, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed biopharmaceutical company; since December 2018, she has served as a member of the board of directors of PTC Therapeutics; and from 2023 to 2024, she served as a member of the board of directors of Catalent, Inc., until its acquisition by Novo Holdings.

From March 2021 to May 2022, Ms. Okey served as a member of the board of directors of Orphazyme, a company based in Denmark. Since 2024, Ms. Okey has served as a member of the board of directors of City of Hope Medical Center.

In addition, she previously served as a member of the board of directors of the California Life Sciences Association from October 2014 to January 2016. Ms. Okey received a bachelor’s degree in zoology from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree medical microbiology from Wright State University. Ms. Okey’s executive leadership experience in the life science industry and service on various biopharmaceutical company boards contributed to our board of directors’ conclusion that she should serve as a director of our company. Ms. Okey is a member of the Compensation Committee (Chair), the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and the Global Therapeutics Strategy and Access Committee.
