Dr. Young is Tyson Family Endocrinology Clinical Professor and Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, United States. He is the recipient of multiple education awards and is a past president of the Endocrine Society and past chair of the Division of Endocrinology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Young’s clinical research focuses on primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, and other adrenal gland disorders. He has published more than 350 articles on endocrine hypertension and adrenal and pituitary disorders and was recently named the inaugural editor in chief of the Endocrine Society’s JCEM Case Reports. He has delivered more than 700 presentations at national and international meetings and has been an invited visiting professor for more than 150 medical institutions. He received a bachelor’s degree in science from Michigan State University and an master’s degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
