Meet Anel

Tell us about yourself, your position, background, motivations.

I am a Research Associate 2 in the In Vitro Pharmacology group within the Drug Discovery team. I am part of the very early stages of the drug pipeline where I mainly develop cell lines, generate in vitro assays, and then use them to screen compounds. Through this, we can characterize their SAR (structure-activity relationship) and our chemists can then synthesize new compounds that can lead us closer to an advanced lead.

What about Crinetics makes you the most excited to work here?

There’s always something to learn and people willing to teach me, so I always feel engaged and part of a team.

What is your advice on people hoping to join Crinetics?

Ask questions and be willing to learn!
