Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is dedicated to furthering the goals of various professional, educational, and patient-focused organizations.  In accordance with applicable laws and industry codes of conduct, Crinetics provides funding and support to such organizations in the form of Contributions and Sponsorships.

Charitable Contributions


Contributions are a manifestation of Crinetics’ commitment to being a socially responsible company and are intended to support worthwhile charitable, educational, or health-related causes in the geographic locations and healthcare communities in which Crinetics operates.  To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The requesting organization must qualify for tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code
  • The contribution must not be based on or linked to prescribing, formulary, purchasing, or reimbursement policies of the requesting institution
  • The purpose of the funding must be to support general charitable causes or healthcare related activities or educational activities that help promote excellence in patient care
  • Supporting the recipient organization should be consistent with Crinetics’ long-range therapeutic focus and/or the establishment of Crinetics as a responsible community partner
  • For contribution requests in support of charitable events:
    • The dominant purpose of the event must be to raise money for charity
    • Any benefits received by Crinetics (e.g., event tickets) must be incidental to the main purpose of the donation and the amount of the donation must exceed the value of the opportunity provided to Crinetics as a donor
  • Must complete an agreement with Crinetics

Sponsorships


Crinetics supports certain educational and professional activities by providing sponsorships to recognized medical associations, societies, institutions, academies, congresses, and other similar organizations. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Sponsorships must never be based on or linked to potential future prescribing, formulary, purchasing, or reimbursement policies of the requesting institution
  • The organization must be a legitimate organization with an open membership policy, and information about the organization should be publicly available or available upon request
  • Sponsorships cannot be made to individual HCPs or group practices
  • Sponsorship requests must specify the anticipated timing for the project or date of the event
  • Sponsorship requests must include a description of how the funds will be used, along with a general expense breakdown
  • Funding may not be used to pay the costs of travel, lodging, entertainment, or recreational activities, other personal expenses of attendees, or to compensate for time spent at the meeting by attendees, subject to limited exceptions as determined by the Review Committee
  • Sponsorships may not be used to cover a capital or operating expense for the requesting institution or a Healthcare Professional (HCP), (e.g., facility expansion, equipment, office staff, etc.)
  • Must complete an agreement with Crinetics

Application Requirements


By submitting an application you are not guaranteed the approval of the funding request. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals follows a thorough review process and will approve or deny requests at its sole discretion.

In addition to a completed application, you will need to provide the following with your submission:

Charitable Contributions


  • Letter of request, signed and dated on your organization’s letterhead, that includes the following:
    • Program description that includes how you will use the contribution
  • W-9 form (US) or W-8 (non-US)
  • IRS tax determination letter (if applicable)
  • Before the approval of a charitable contribution, an agreement must be complete and fully executed

Sponsorships


  • Letter of request, signed and dated on your organization’s letterhead, that includes the following:
    • Program description that includes how you will use the funding
    • Requested funding amount
    • Anticipated number of participants
    • Full program budget
    • Description of benefit received by Crinetics (i.e., logo in society brochure, etc.)
  • Agenda or Prospectus
  • W-9 form (US) or W-8 (non-US)
  • Before the approval of a Sponsorship, an agreement must be complete and fully executed
