Meet Christina

For those that don’t know, what’s your position and how does your position impact Crinetics?

I’m a Sr. Clinical Trial Associate and support the ClinOps team on the Acrobat studies. The focus right now is to get all the sites that participated in EDGE and EVOLVE closed out. This means ensuring we have proper study documentation for the Trial Masters Files and Clinical Study Report. My manager and I are also working on implementing VEEVA Vault ETMF (Electronic Trial Master File) system in house for the First In Human studies. I am excited about Veeva Vault eTMF because not only is the system extremely intuitive, it will help us ensure we are in a state of inspection readiness by managing documents and processes in the same system and having access to real time metrics including the quality, timeliness and completeness of the Trial Master File.

What’s something about Crinetics that surprised you?

This is the first company I have worked for that had the lab on site. When we were working in the office it was really cool going for strolls to the lab and getting to see a glimpse of what the scientists do. I was also surprised by the amount of dog lovers at Crinetics.

Tell us about yourself.

I come from a very large Chinese and Italian family. Both of my parents were from Queens NY (this is why I am a NY JETS fan sadly) and I was born and raised in NJ with my 3 sisters and brother. When I was 12 years old, I visited my uncle in San Diego and knew one day I would move here. About 7 years ago I was really fed up with the NJ humidity and bought a one-way ticket to San Diego. It was the best decision of my life despite the bagels and pizza being subpar out here. I met my husband shortly after I moved, and we became parents to a Weimaraner named Giselle. My hobbies include playing sports, refurbishing furniture and crafting.

How would you describe your personality?

I am extroverted, though shy at first. After I get to know you and let down my guard, you won’t be able to shut me up. I have a loud laugh I can’t seem to control the pitch or volume to and have been told many times that I am just like Monica from friends. I love to host, cook and I am extremely competitive (don’t ever play Monopoly with me if you want to remain friends.)
